About

Hi, I’m Owen. I make employment law make sense.

I’m an employment and business lawyer in London. For twelve years I advised companies and their people from inside large firms. Now I do it on my own terms: one lawyer, fixed fees and plain English.

My story

Why I started Verdix

I qualified as a solicitor in 2013 and spent the next twelve years in City and regional firms, working on dismissals, grievances, contracts and boardroom disputes. The work was good. The way clients experienced it often was not.

People waited days for answers, paid for meetings they did not need and rarely spoke to the same person twice. Founders told me they put off calling a lawyer until a small problem had already grown.

So in 2025 I started Verdix: one lawyer, fixed fees agreed upfront and a reply within one working day. You get my full attention from the first call to the final signature.
